Willis Dady Emergency Shelter

Emergency shelter for all. Evening shelter only during the week.

Can provide shelter for up to 16 single men and 4 families.

After checking-in, the bed/apartment is yours for the next 30 days (provided you follow basic rules and work on finding housing).

During the day, you'll leave the shelter to work, look for work, look for housing, attend meetings, and take care of any other responsibilities.

Staff will help you find housing while you're staying here.

We can provide bedding, hygiene items, food, clothing, laundry, household items, and other basic needs to shelter clients.

* Clients in need of shelter first contact Waypoint's Shelter Services coordinated entry program by calling (319) 366-7999. Shelter Services talks with the caller about their current situation and attempts to identify non-shelter, temporary housing options, such as living with a family member of friend for a short period of time. If no alternative to shelter is determined, Shelter Services will contact the most appropriate shelter in Linn County to let them know a client will be coming for check in.
