YWCA Family Crisis Program

We do not have a homeless shelter we have a shelter for domestic violence victims and their children.

Today, the Yakima YWCA focuses on three areas: empowering womenand girls, building self-sufficient women and eliminating familyviolence. From providing emergency shelter to a battered womanand her children, to helping a young girl discover the excitingworld of science, the Yakima YWCA provides a supportive venueto encourage women and help them grow. Underlying its eff ortsis a commitment to collaborate with other community partnersand to embrace and celebrate diversity.
