"My Home Apartments" are low-income apartments designated specifically for men who have graduated the program at the Mission and have a source of income. The apartments are an alcohol-free, drug-free environment and a great stepping-stone for men wanting to get out on their own, yet may still need the accountability the Rescue Mission provides.
The Grant County Rescue Mission and Open Heart Women's Shelter is the only homeless shelter for men, women and children. We are currently serving approximately 72,000 free meals a year. Our kitchen is open 7 days a week, 365 days a year and provides meals to anyone in need. In 2012, we provided over 17,000 nights of shelter to homeless men, women and children in Grant County.
Homelessness and addiction hurt. But there is a way back toward home and healing!
In our free eight month long Christian residential addiction recovery program, up to 24 men at a time leave behind the burden of the past to embrace a healthy new life.
