The Salvation Army of Greater Lynchburg is committed to providing hot meals for those in need in our community.Three hundred and sixty five days of the year, seven days a week, volunteers and staff feed residents of the Center of Hope and those in the community two meals a day. Breakfast starts at 7am and dinner is served at 5pm.
Donations of food are essential to this program. The Center is always looking for donations of breakfast items, can goods, meats, drinks, paper products and all other food items. The Center of Hope has an industrial kitchen and large freezers designed to accommodate community donations.
