Description: Pinellas Hope is a Temporary Emergency Shelter that offers its residents privacy and a safe place to sleep and leave their belongings while they are at work. The residents are also able to do their laundry, learn computer skills, receive case management and counseling, receive medical attention, take showers and have three meals a day. This program facilitates the transition from homelessness to self sufficiency. Since its inception in December 2007, Pinellas Hope has assisted over 1800 individuals. Pinellas Hope is run by a small administrative staff and is maintained largely by its residents.
