Description: shelter for men in Baltimore, Opens: 6:00 p.m. Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Saturday - 4:30 p.m. Thursday and Sunday.
Offers a faith based 12-step residential program and an emergency shelter for men. The soup kitchen, thrift store and holiday meals are for anyone in need.
EMERGENCY OVERNIGHT SHELTER: Provides food, clothing, and support groups for men. Located at 11 West Clement Street, Baltimore, MD 21230. Open 6PM nightly, except Thurs & Sun, open at 4:30PM. Closes at 7AM. Adults ages 18 and up.
REHABILITATION RESIDENCE: Offers a faith based 12-step residential program providing up to 1 year of continuous shelter for men who want to modify their lifestyle. Interview required. Location: 11 West Clement Street, Baltimore, MD 21230. Walk-in interviews Wed and Fri, 8-9AM, or call to schedule an appointment. Adults ages 18 and up.
SOUP KITCHEN: Open Thurs and Sun, 4:30PM-7:30PM at 11 West Clement Street. Anyone in need is welcome, no age restriction.
WORK PROGRAM: Assists clients in becoming financially independent. Must have full-time employment before being interviewed. Must pay $75 enrollment fee, 10 percent earnings for tithes to church, and save 1/3rd of income. Clients are provided with bed and meals, and they do not have to pay utilities.
HOLIDAY ASSISTANCE 2010: Will offer a Thanksgiving Day meal at 4:30PM and a Christmas Day meal from 9-10AM at 11 West Clement St. 21230. Both holiday meals are open to anyone in need. Walk-ins are welcome.
CONVALESCENT CARE: Offers a 12-bed unit for disabled men. Must have a referral from Health Care for the Homeless.
Donation Requests by American Rescue Workers: DONATIONS: Provides pick up of donated clothing in Baltimore City, and surrounding counties. Call for information.HOLIDAY DONATIONS: Clothing, food, toys, shoes, toiletries, coats and gloves are welcome.
