The Ruth and Naomi House
Our Women's and Children’s Shelter on North Broad Street is called the Ruth and Naomi House and is set to open in summer 2019.

The Shelter saw the need for a new transitional shelter for women and women with children in 2017 and began fundraising to make this dream a reality. The Shelter purchased a historic building on North Broad Street in early 2018, and the new Women’s Shelter will open in spring 2019.

The Women's Shelter has room for eight single women and four women with children. This historic facility includes on-site staff housing, a children's library and play area, and administrative offices for the Shelter's staff. It is also adjacent to the Shelter's new transitional housing units.
