The Broward Partnership operates the Central Homeless Assistance Center, a 57,000 square-foot, 200-bed emergency shelter situated on 2.7 acres near downtown Fort Lauderdale that typically serves more than 1,000 homeless men, women and families with children each year. In addition to safe, secure shelter and three nutritious meals a day, Broward Partnership's service approach highlights alternatives to living on the street and provides each resident with the tools to reacquire health, stable housing and employment within a limited time frame.
