Description: A Home for Homeless Veterans
Steps House Utilizes 105 beds in 38 home sites. We provide shelter and housing for our residents while they find their way back from addiction and homelessness.
Steps House is a non-profit, (501c3) corporation located in beautiful South Knoxville, Tennessee. We utilize a well trained staff including several state and nationally licensed counselors in order to provide the best possible services to those we serve.

The Steps House admits men every day of the year.
For admission criteria or an application for entry into our program call the Steps House at 865-573-7152.

Our Grant and Per diem program is for the men who  are making a commitment to work toward becoming independent once again. Time limit for this program is 2 years. Clients are eligible for 3 admissions in a lifetime. We can place 40 veterans in this program.

Many of these shelters now have waiting lists. Please call before going to them. Many waiting lists are very long. Shelters and service also go out of business.
