Kingfisher Church of the Nazarene provides assistance to residents of Kingfisher Dover, Loyal, and Okarche.
The food pantry is open during regular church office hours which is Mon-Fri, 9am - 12:30pm. Anyone planning to come for food might call first just to verify someone is here to help.Anyone can get a box if they need it regardless of income. We allow those with letters from DHS to come monthly. We can make exceptions during crisis situations.
Our food boxes typically include the following items:
a breakfast item (box of cereal or quick oats)
1 carton (32oz) milk
1 box of saltine crackers
1 jar peanut butter
1 jar of jelly
4 cans of meat
8 cans of vegetables
3 cans of fruit
1 bag of white rice (or box of instant rice)
1 bag of pinto beans
1 package of pasta plus cans of pasta sauce
Depending on income levels, we can also supplement the food boxes with items from USDA.
