The Emmaus Mission Center is a 501(c)3, non-profit, multi-denominational social service agency that was established to provide support for marginalized families and individuals within a fifty-mile radius of Cass County, Indiana. The Mission clientele typically includes elderly people attempting to survive on minimal income, single parents unable to provide for their children, those homeless for various reasons and recent arrivals attempting to make a new start in the United States. Most are “working poor” and on the brink of financial and familial disaster.
