Only full service homeless shelter in Lakeway area of east Tennessee serving men, women, and children with shelter, food, and counseling.
We operate our facility in Hamblen County; however, we also serve 9 other Counties which surround us. Those counties include, Jefferson, Grainger, Hawkins, Hancock, Claiborne, Union, Greene and Sevier counties.
We believe that in order to change the face of homelessness, we must provide more than the basic needs (shelter, food, and clothing) to each individual we serve. This is why we are more than an emergency shelter. We are a program for the homeless which also provides their basic needs while learning new, healthy life sustaining habits.
We offer our residents a structured program to prepare to enter the community again. Residents are required to get jobs and do daily chores. Everyone meets with a case manager twice a week to review job tracking sheets, discuss mental illness, counseling, medical care, budgeting, and more.
