The McKinney Center helped me so much in a time of need. I was homeless and they were there. It was difficult to adjust to strangers and such a regimented lifestyle, but in the long run, I ended up being able to get onto Section 8 and get an apartment of my own. It takes a long time to go from homeless to housed but if you hang in there, the people at McKinney can connect you to what you need to do to change your life. A special thanks to Kenny and Bill who keep on keepin' on.
