Day shelter hours: Tuesdays through Fridays 8:30am to 3pm.

TFH is a warming center during the coldest winter nights, providing a safe haven from the freezing elements.

Day Shelter Services

    3 free meals a day / including sack lunch to go.
    TFH provides 3,000-4,000 meals a month in our fight to eliminate hunger.
    Clothing exchange
    Warm showers and hair cuts
    Basic medical
    3 computer stations
    R & R in our day shelter; a safe place to rest
    Referrals to housing, mental health and drug addiction
    VASH program for homeless veterans
    Prayer, council and love.
    Mailing address for clients to receive important mail
    TFH Street teams take the love of God to the streets with food and warmth; twice a week

Is this a safe shelter to stay in?

  1. Yes, you can sleep and not worry about the only things that you do have in the whole world getting stolen from you and out on the street that's a really hard thing ,so thank you the Father's heart

Do they accept pets at this shelter?

  1. The father heart welcomes everyone of all shapes and sizes and don't discriminate against anybody including animals

Do you have any advice for those wanting to stay at this shelter?

  1. Yes, please go there, they're amazing people they're there to help you they helped me a lot . On one of my visits I was really sick and I had no way to the hospital and I couldn't walk and they took me to the hospital if I wouldn't of went I would of lost my arm so thank you the Father's heart because of you I have my arm.

How long can you stay here?

  1. It is a day shelter but they give you all the things you need to take with you, they also give you clean clothes , back pack, shoes, sack lunch and most of all a hot meal and a hot shower and you can watch t. v. and you can make some phone calls if you need to .

    I am trying to work with them on getting housing but my mom is getting dementia and alot of my time has been going to helping her, it's the hardest thing I've ever had to deal with. So thank you Father's heart for being so understanding. You guys really are the best day shelter and the food is really good.
