Silver City Gospel Mission

Address
111 S Texas St.
Silver City, NM - 88061

Our ultimate goals are to bring Jesus Christ to a starving world by love demonstrated through action and to give something back to our small town by helping our friends and neighbors. We serve anyone who comes into our Mission, regardless of their race, color, national origin, sex, age, disability, religious beliefs, socio-economic status or sexual orientation. Occasionally, we may have to ban someone temporarily for certain behaviors like violence, intoxication, bad language, or perversity. Even in extreme cases like these, we will try and give them food and clothing when they need it.

We have an emergency men’s shelter in the soup kitchen that, due to funding is only open during the winter months (15 Nov-31 Mar).
Doors open at 5:30 pm and are locked at 7:30 pm.  Men must vacate the shelter by 7:30 am and may return for breakfast at 8:30 am.  Please call us at (575) 388-5071 for more info.
