The Family Place

Day Center for Families Living Without a Permanent Home

The Family Place guides children and their parents/caregivers from uncertainty to stability in the quest in finding a place to call home.
The Family Place staff in conjunction with Coordinated Access to Housing and Shelter (CAHS) and Ramsey County help parents/caretakers evaluate the issues that contributed to their state of  homelessness. An action plan is established to move families to stability.
Once a family finds suitable housing, The Family Place's Housing Program provides a move in basket with basic household cleaning supplies, bedding, dishes and cookware along with a tool kit.
If you are seeking shelter, please contact: Coordinated Access to Housing and Shelter (651) 215-2262.
