The Caring Center of Slidell

My stay in the Caring Center of Slidell La was the most dysfunctional and horrific experience I’ve ever had. I was verbally , mentally and emotionally abused. When I started standing up for myself and questioned things that were going on there, I was told I had to leave. When I first arrived there place had 3 goats in the area that was designated for smoking. After the goats were taken away this place did not bother to clean up the waste left by the goats. That waste has attracted rats and those rats are now living in the building. In the main living area there is so much junk that paths have been made to get through to the back of the building. Who polices this facility to make sure that what’s going on there is corrected? people sleeping on couches in the living area. I am alleging that because I stood up for myself against the abuse that that was the main reason I was kicked out with no place to go. The place is intolerable as a so called shelter.
