Separate shelters for men and for women/families

We are staffed 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Bread of Life Mission is a 34 bed emergency shelter for men, women, and children. We have a Recovery/Intern/Discipleship Program for a limited number. There are only 34 beds, so everyone else is on a mat on the floor.

Our Mission is to provide spiritual guidance and physical assistance including shelter, food and vocational training to people in need, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, to help them recognize and deal with their problems in a life changing manner.

Tags Donations Needed: Please go to our Donatations Page to see all the different ways you can help. Volunteers Needed: Volunteers are needed to help assist staff 2-3 hours varying times, supplies and food are always needed and very much appreciated and we are always grateful for any amount of money donation you can make to meet our ongoning expenses.

  1. The staff needs to be more routine. Rules change constantly and there is no real schedule.

Do you have any advice for those wanting to stay at this shelter?

  1. Bring money although the people promote shelter there are donations expected from all individuals. Foodstamps are excepted and taken from men/women a $94.00 requirement and $94.00 cash. Some people pay 210.00 a month. I don't understand the requirements I have no money. I believe the Bread of Life is a shelter for homeless. How are people supposed to get on their feet of paying required donations. Makes no sense to me
