Emergency Food Assistance (TEFAP) Boxes

The Emergency Food Assistance Program (TEFAP) is a Federal program that helps supplement households with low incomes by providing an additional food resource. The food boxes contain non-perishable items such as canned fruits/vegetables/meats, rice, pastas, beans, cereal and juice. They provide emergency food and nutrition assistance at no cost.

The Old Town Mission facilitates this program. Distributed is the first week of each month during our normal food pantry hours until supplies are gone.

Valid ID and address is necessary. A form at the front desk must be signed each month to receive the food box.
