Description: We provide transitional housing for homeless families with children. It is an application process - we are not an emergency shelter.

It is a drug and alcohol free program.

Family Renew Community is not an emergency housing shelter, it is a transitional housing and educational program (6-24 months). Our application process requires eight pages of current and background information; references are checked and background information is verified. The process normally takes a week to two weeks and acceptance is contingent upon availability of an apartment and a negative UA (drug) test.

Families with children under 18 years of age must be:
Homeless
Drug free
Employed or employable (within one month of entry)
Willing to abide by program rules

Application Forms are available at all three residential locations. It is best to call ahead to arrange for a pre-application interview to get on our wait list. REMEMBER: if you're not on the list, you'll never be at the top of the list.
