On this day April 19, 2019 at 5:30pm EST, 2:30pm PST, I contacted your organization for information regarding a family member who informed me they are at your facility. For security reasons, I did not want confirmation or denial that my sister is in your facility because we talk daily and I have not heard from her in days and I’m worried. I live on the east coast. Whether or not your organization can or cannot rely messages to individuals you provide services for with or without conformation, at the very less, your staff that is tasked with receiving phone calls could be professional and respectful. I’m try to help my sister who has not contacted me in days and the receptionist that took my call was curt, abrupt, unprofessional and lacks human compassion. I was constantly interrupted while I was speaking, she refused to answer my question but kept telling me what she’s not going to do with a very careless, condescending voice tone before she disconnected my call without any warning or a proper and professional close to the conversation. If this person is working with marginalized vulnerable people in need, I suspect that she treats your organizations clients with as much disregard. Perhaps management should have better professional training for staff members who are employed as receptionists. Please note the time of my call PST, and locate the woman who took my call and poorly represented your organization and have a serious conversation about professionalism. Thank you. Best, Ms. Cooks
