Description: Assistance for families.
Motel vouchers can be issued to people who are currently homeless. These are available on a limited basis. An appointment with a Family Development Specialist is needed. A household is allowed two to three nights per year depending on the situation and their needs.

Tenant Based Rental Assistance (TBRA) and Transitional Housing Operating and Rent Program (THOR).

CAC operates a transitional housing program that provides subsidy for rent based on household income. Candidates are screened and assessed by a Family Development Specialist and an application is submitted based upon the initial screening and assessment process.

Participants may be, but are not limited to, homeless families, Families with children, families that are interested in working with a Family Development Specialist to identify goals and develop an action plan.

Families that are in need of emergency housing assistance are asked to contact a CAC Family Development Specialist to arrange an appointment. Funds are available on a limited basis, and there may be a waiting list for these programs.
