Description: This is Transitional Housing, not a homeless shelter.
Hyacinth's Place is 15 individual affordable transitional housing units for previously homeless women with a mental health diagnosis. We provide our women with apartments of one bedroom and a small bathroom while we work to put them back in the community and with their families through counseling, therapy, and social services. We have a drug-free, safe, comfortable community for our women to break the cycle of homelessness.
Volunteers Requests by Hyacinth's Place - Transitional Housing For Women: We love volunteers! Hyacinth\\\'s Place is currently being run by 2 full time staff members and 7 volunteers. If you would like to volunteer please email firstname.lastname@example.org. We can use people on site and those that work from home.
Donation Requests by Hyacinth's Place - Transitional Housing For Women: Primarily funds for operating expenses of the building, utilities and mortgage, funds for employing counselors and therapists. Tangible gifts of food, clothing, and appliances also accepted on a case by case basis.
