The Salvation Army Dave Coy Shelter for Men

Service Description: Dave Coy Mens Shelter provides emergency shelter and transitional housing opportunities for up to 131 men experiencing chronic homelessness and/or lack a stable housing environment. Participants receive three meals daily and work with a case manager to identify and coordinate available educational and career development opportunities and other resources to facilitate greater independence and self-sufficiency. The facility is alcohol, smoke, and drug-free.

Open for check-in:
3:00 PM 8:00 PM, 7 days a week

Eligibility: Males age 18 or older; two forms of ID, picture ID and Social Security card; smoke free, alcohol free, and drug free facility.

Fees: 3 free nights for homeless lodging; after 3 free nights, $10 fee per night.

Intake Process: Intake done at front desk registration; all clients will be breathylyzed.

Service Hours: 7:30 - 5:00 weekdays; shelter always available

Application Process: In person or by phone to receive services.

Documents Required: Valid photo identification, verification of employment (if employed), completed intake applications accepted at the front registration desk, breathalyzer administered upon entry, call for more information.
