I have a comment I've been to this shelter in the past 12 months. I had to wait a litle to be helped. The staff was friendly.I was given food. I used a phone and Internet. I felt very safe. My experience was awesome, the best. I needed to wash clothes and was referred to the Catholic Workers House by patrons/staff at another shelter. I arrived a little too early, the door's opened at 9am. The schedule changes a bit. There is a membership enrollment on Tuesday's, however everyone member/nonmember is helped. I fully intended to just wash my clothes and leave. The people there, both the staff and patrons were welcoming and cordial. This location does not provide for an overnight stay. However, the home feels more like a coffee shop than a shelter. There's a patio area in the back with plenty of benches and picnic tables. Inside there's a cafe area where food and drink are provided, there's a lounge area to sit and watch a movie, there's also a free phone for calls. All in all, I found this place to be very welcoming and huge comfort. Good luck.
