Sloan House Women's Emergency Shelter

For single women & mothers with children. Call after 4pm. Voicemail M-F 9am-4pm. Se habla espaol.

Sloan House is a 22 bed shelter that offers temporary housing and supportive services for women and their children. The shelter can serve women with up to two children; however we can only serve boys up to age 5. The initial stay is for 30 days, with 30 day extensions granted one month at a time based on the participants commitment to moving forward. The maximum stay at Sloan House is 180 days.

The facility is clean and sober with random drug testing. Women are assigned a case manager who works with them weekly to create an individual action plan designed to move the participant toward self-sufficiency.

Women must be able to do a daily chore, complete 4 hours of community service each week, and follow shelter rules, policies and procedures.
