I love coming to your food bank but sadly, I am sitting here, in tears because I have to choose between going hungry or being subject to the pushing, shoving and bullying by a certain group of people who push and shove people out of the way that waited for hours. People that showed up minutes before opening. I mean, my family LOVES the staff and volunteers but being subject to a gang mentality where I have to shove back, threaten and use my body as a human shield is not a safe environment for my family. If there is a way to solve this issue, for example, if you aren't in line, you lose your spot (simple and effective) then we can come back but until then the safety of my family, myself and what they are exposed to isn't safe or healthy. This has become an ongoing issue for many of the people I speak to in line. Thank you for your services. You guys are amazing.
