Food and utility assistance by appointment only
After hours, evening, and Saturday tours available; please call for appointment
NOTE: Offices closed the third Thursday of every month due to participation in Food for Families

Good Sam is a community based, comprehensive assistance program. All of the services offered are specifically developed to ensure families have food, shelter and electricity. We distributed more than 439,000 pounds of food in 2013. We have also faithfully provided utility assistance and coordinating with other agencies to leverage all of the areas resources.


Volunteers Requests by Good Samaritans of Garland: We need your help, everyone has gifts, we would love for you to use your gifts to help us with our mission. We have about 30 volunteers that show up every week to help those most in need in our community
