The Open Door provides a food pantry serving the areas of Gloucester, Rockport, Ipswich, Manchester and Essex. It provides free, three-to-five-day supplies of emergency groceries to income-qualified residents of their service area.

Additionally, The Open Door has a thrift store called the Second Glance located at 2 Pond Road, Gloucester, MA. The Second Glance can be reached at 978-283-4298 and the shopping hours are Wednesday to Saturday from 9:00a.m. to 5:00p.m. Accepted donations: clothing for men, women, teens, children and infants; household items, knickknacks and linens; books, games, videos, DVDs, CDs, furniture; small appliances, and electronics. Please book an appointment to schedule your donation.
