Comment 1. - User James states - I stayed at Siena Francis shelter about a year ago. I met different people the majority if the women there suffer from some type of mental issue.95% of the women do not need to be around children. I liked Patty she was honest and always kept it real.But as far as other staff i felt like they thought they were better than me. some of them were very disrespectful.For many of the women there crack, cocaine and meth was all they knew. That was not the case for me circumstances led me there. the fact that reformed drug addicts had access to my things did not sit well with me either. But hey beggers can't be choosers. Why look down on me Im not the addict or prostiute im not the one standing on the corner looking for another fix. i have a daughter, im in school, i am a sister an aunt a friend.My husband beat the crap out of me. Treat me with the respect we deserve.who are you to look down and judge anybody.And as far as i am concerned reformed addicts should not be passing medication or looking at them let alone touching them. in the real world you have to be trained to pass out medications.In my opinion drug addicts should not pass out drugs.Who knows they might just relapse. would you put poison in front of a baby and expect them not to touch it, No! you would put it out of their reach
