Bay Area Homeless Services - Baytown, TX

Emergency - Families Shelter - Provide shelter to Homeless Families Victims of Domestic Violence General Population.

BAHS is an emergency homeless shelter serving clients from Channelview to Winnie and LaPorte to Cleveland, a service area of more than 2000 square miles. We provide emergency shelter, food, meals, intensive case management, clothing vouchers for clients, and have a transitional housing program.

Volunteers Requests by Bay Area Homeless Services: Potential volunteers dhould contact our office at 281-837-1654 to begin the screening process.

Donation Requests by Bay Area Homeless Services: We especially welcome donation of food products for our clients and copier paper for our administrative areas. Due to limited storage we encourage donations of clothing, furniture and household goods be made to other area service organizations in our name.

Many of these shelters now have waiting lists. Please call before going to them. Many waiting lists are very long. Shelters and service also go out of business.     I have a comment I've been to this shelter in the past 12 months. I had to wait a while to be seen. The staff was friendly. I felt very safe. My experience was awesome, the best. I need to be somewhere to stay.....
