ANEW Place is a transitional housing shelter with 25 beds, for those experiencing homelessness within the local Burlington community.
They help by providing a continuum of support services for their guests staying at their shelter, helping them to make a a successful, sustainable transition toward wellness and self-sufficiency.

Some community members enjoy becoming involved as evening volunteers! Evening volunteers oversee a meal once a week from 6pm-9pm. Evening volunteers are crucial in furthering the shelter’s mission of working together as a community to meet the needs of all people who come through our door! They provide encouragement and support for guests, maintain house rules and a safe environment, as well as overseeing the evening meal and evening activities.
