I stayed here for 9 months back in 2012. I was thankful to have a place to stay, if you're respectful to the people there and follow the rules they will treat you well and take care of you.
It's safe there, they don't tolerate people who steal, fight, or cause trouble or conflict, so people like that lose their spot there.
To my knowledge I don't believe so. I don't remember anyone having a pet there.
It's a men's mission so there is bible study and two services a day so if you're not religious it might be hard for you, but even if you're not and you are at least respectful and try to participate you'll be okay. I would also say if you stay there and are having trouble or a problem with something, talk to Jim and be honest with him, he genuinely cares about people and has more than likely been where you are or has gone through what you are going through. He doesn't judge you or look down on you and if you are willing to try he is willing to help. Jim is a good, honest, and fair man.
You can stay as long as you need, but you have to follow the rules and be respectful.
