If you have stayed in this shelter, how was your stay?

It can be rough but when cold, rainy and just plain exhausted it's better than the streets.

I heard it use to be a lot better under the old management, but this new guy (PD) is something. He is always just in his office and the staff don't even conduct any fire drills for our safety. If the records show that they are doing them, they are cooking the books.
Is this a safe shelter to stay in?

NO, the PD allow the staff (DSS and Operations Coordinator - Both females) do and say whatever they want to the clients.
Do they accept pets at this shelter?
Do you have any advice for those wanting to stay at this shelter?

If you have no patience don't bother. But, the food is cooked and staff is willing to help with your issues.

The location is great, but the female DSS/Ass. Program Director are disrespectful to men and they will illegal transfer you to another shelter and claim DHS did it.
How long can you stay here?
