New Day

Safe Home

24 hours a day, 365 days per year, New Day Youth & Family Services provides a safe place to live for youth ages 11-17. We offer a stable, secure and structured environment with a homelike atmosphere. Youth are assisted in enrolling in school, working on their GED and receive tutoring when needed. Our goal is to help each young person move forward with new confidence, a new identity and new skills into a long-term safe environment. Youth staying at the Safe Home participate in Life Skills classes and are offered access to clinical services.

Transitional Living Program

The New Day Youth and Family Services Transitional Living Program (TLP) is a 6-18 month program for youth ages 17-22. New Day TLP takes a holistic approach to working with young people.

Our overarching goal is for youth to progress in three domains:

1) functional skills;
2)interpersonal relationships and skills; and
3) internal wellness and self-knowledge.

Housing provides the stabilizing factor that allows youth to achieve these goals and fulfill their dreams. Twenty-one apartments are available throughout the community.
