About 7 years ago, I stayed at the shelter with my mom who I was taking care of, and 2 of my grandsons who were 4 and 7. We were there for 7 months, I had a job working nights at a nursing home and was saving money to put on an apartment. The people at the shelter told us to pick a church and go. My life was changed (for the better). I accepted Christ in my life and growing spiritually more and more every day. I'm glad I spent that time there, i dont regret it for one second. The staff was great especially 1 woman in particular named Jean. No one wants to go into a shelter but for me it was a time of growth and the miracles I witnessed while there was truly amazing. God knows what He is doing. We need to remember that and keep faith always that everything will be ok. To any staff that reads this review: I would love to work there and get the chance to make a difference in someones life. Thank you for taking the time to read this review.
