Harbor House is the largest shelter in Boone County. Harbor House is the only shelter in Boone County that helps parents and children of all ages stay together, and the only shelter in Boone County that has single men's and women's beds.

For those facing extreme heat (hot cots), unbearable cold (cold cots) weather Harbor House is a welcome respite featuring a safe place to eat and sleep at no cost.

Harbor House offers a 90 day program and offers three meals a day, shelter, showers and laundry as well as case management that provides educational support, counseling services, and vocational direction, Harbor House programs help residents cultivate vital life skills through life skills classes for a successful and stable position in society.
