Avery House Treatment Center For Women Halfway House
Avery House, a halfway house for women and their children, provides a transitional program which fosters recovery through the love and care of a home community.
Services are provided through a contract between Montgomery County, Maryland and Chrysalis House, Inc. under a federal grant administered by the state of Maryland Alcohol and Drug Abuse Administration. Additional sources of support include grants and foundations.
At Avery House, the needs of recovering mothers and their children are met in a structured, supportive, and sober environment. The facility provides a variety of ethnic and cultural halfway house services up to nine months.
Avery House is run by Chrysalis House, Inc. a nonprofit organization which provides full treatment services to women suffering with the disease of addiction. We offer long-term care and outpatient services to pregnant and post-partum women with children.
