If you have stayed in this shelter, how was your stay?

User Answers

  1. Felt like a it was treated as a phych ward we were held in in on new years Eve and day and are not allowed even food to be delivered even for the people who work. Treat us like we're children especially when talking to us. etc. also wasnt notified when my parent was called and told not to deliver anything to me on these days and sometimes at all.

Do they accept pets at this shelter?

User Answers

  1. They say you do, but, if you work or are looking for work the animal is confined to a pet box all day long. If it's a dog and it barks omg. Call the animal shelter on the person for keeping the animal contained.. Those are the rules at the shelter. They are not consistent. The shelter then tries for you to give your pet up so you can go to work and not bother them. It says animal friendly but it real is not. Lots of games there.

It's a clean place for the most part, the staff is nice, however, they are not knowledgeable, and do not listen to what the clients have to say. They look down on the clients, and when they speak, Say. "Ya, ya, ya, ok, ok, ok," 95 percent of the time. Very disturbing, they want a client to take the path that they want, which is not such a good path most of time, due to the fact the care coordinators do not have licensing and are in recovery themselves, and don't know what there talking because they don't listen They really push everyone to go to the rescue mission, which in itself, demonstrates cult like behavior, and has abuse towards cleints, which is always swept under the rug. Most of the care coordinators can not even admin. A test for rapid rehousing, they have to depend on city net which is another useless group, except for referrals into TTEs, they never follow through with anything. I ve been dealing with the promises of city net for years. Tellacare, is the biggest waste of money, tustin and orange county have ever seen. I have paper work of promises from citynet and tellacare, which I can provide through email.. When my friend committed suicide dec 6, mike monteer, At ttes by strangulation. My other friend and I went to staff several times before that, to tell them the date and time mike was going to kill himself, they new the date and time at dec 6 at 10 am, with the 84 cameras that ttes purchased with the city of Tustins money, which the camera was just above Michael when he killed himself, you woul think that the staff might of looked at the camera just in case. If your a homeless illegal do not go to TTES. Otherwise for 3 hots and a cot, showers, it's pretty cool., donated clothes, sparingly, terrible food, sickening, couldn't eat there much due to the high sodium and salt in food.

TTES is not a good place to stay . The shelter doesn't listen to anyone not even kids I would complain so many times and they thought it was all in my head and I was a kid who imagined things . I didn't like the shelter in the first place.

The workers there never cared about what happened, Rules were never forced on people, and I felt like it was a Mental ward instead of a Homeless Shelter, caught someone taking drugs in their cubical ( know who but won't say ), a lot of men smoking but surprisingly respected me.
