  1. Longer than expected and difficult if you’re a female they kick your out for no reason of the clients but for lack of doing their job

  3. Yes they accept pets but their rules are strict and you have to take your pet with you everywhere you go and can’t engage with other people in the program.

Do you have any advice for those wanting to stay at this shelter?

  1. This is a good shelter El Puente but they do not help. They wait until something bad happens.

Stay on top of your process ask questions take advantage of the opportunity to get acclimated back into being self sufficient voice your opinions make sure you have all your basic done right away schedule a ride to get TB test you only need once even if you re-enter a shelter or program 1 every 5 years very important schedule a ride for identification they supply vouchers in may 2025 Real ID is the new standard *the are obligated to provide a ride for you for all voucher and housing qualification requirements **

  2. 90 day is the increment per qualifying stay so stay on top of your care plan so they can re-sign you for as many 90 day stays as it takes them to process and get you housed
