Franciscan Outreach Association Has Four Programs: An Emergency Overnight Shelter For Homeless Adults, A Free Dining Room For The Poor And Homeless, A Case Management Program In Which Trained Case Managers Help The Homeless And Poor Find The Social Services They Need To Create A Better Life For Themselves, And A Lay Volunteer Program Through Which Volunteers Can Work Directly With The Poor And Homeless Full Time In Exchange For Room And Board And A Small Stipend.We Were Founded In 1963 By Fr. Phil Marquard, Ofm, And Incorporated In 1976. We'Ve Had Various Programs Over The Years, Each Of Which Provided Basic Services To The Poor And Homeless.Our Vision Is To Provide The Poor And Homeless With The Basic Necessities They Need To Survive From Day To Day And Help Them Find The Specialized Services They Need To Change Their Lives For The Better. We Treat Our Guests With Respect And Dignity Because They Are Our Brothers And Sisters, In The Spirit Of Jesus Christ And St. Francis Of Assisi.
