ur goal at Meals On Wheels of Sarasota, Inc. is to nourish and enrich our clients' lives through the services we provide. Our Home-Delivered Meals program helps MOW clients maintain a healthy lifestyle and remain living independently by providing nutritious meals, a daily safety check, and friendly interaction.Meals on Wheels of Sarasota, Inc. delivers a nutritious meal Monday through Saturday to more than 500 Sarasota County residents daily who cannot prepare their own food. MOW is not a program solely focused on low-income residents; rather, we serve the physically/mentally disadvantaged, people recuperating from an injury, and all those in need who are unable to prepare and shop for themselves.
MOW Sarasota offers a seasonal menu daily to our clients. Our menu is focused on preparing a heart healthy nutritional meal - one that meets Recommended Daily Intake (RDI) standards and tastes great. We provide a lower sodium, lower fat, lower sugar fare for all our clients which will satisfy the many age groups, genders and sizes of our clients with different cultural palates.
