I really like the idea of the thrift store helping the homeless. I have donated items there. However I dont like the idea of the furniture and expensive donations being sold online to Ebay. That seems to be unscrupulous. In fact we donated items to help people in a bad spot not to go to the highest bidder where part or all monies can go in someone's pocket.... That's the whole idea of the "THRIFT STORE". God bless.

I was at Good Samaritan ministries in Port St Lucie Florida for almost 2 years. While I was there I was so connected to God and I loved doing service work especially being a house Mom of the mental health women. Unfortunately I let my fear and doubt creep in from the enemy and when my boyfriend gave me an ultimatum I left. That was almost 4 years ago and I have regretted my decision since that day. If I could go back I would in a second. A lot of people call it a cult it's not it's just structured and faith-based and they just look out for your best interest individually. A lot of people who have been there say that there is favoritism but it is not favoritism. It's based on the individual and how they go forth on connecting with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. I would definitely go back if they would accept me. Even though I have been doing very well the last three years I've never felt a place where I belong more than I had at Good Samaritan ministries I felt like I had family and I finally had a sense of belonging and purpose. If you can get into this program it may seem strange at first but if you truly want to change your life and live for Christ Good Samaritan ministries is definitely the place to do that. Pastor Vito and his wife Charlene are amazing people and the rest of the staff which I'm not exactly sure who is still on staff there since I have been too ashamed to even call them and apologize for me leaving as abruptly as I did. I pray everyday for God to give me the courage to call and ask if I can come back but first apologize and ask for forgiveness for my behavior. My point is that if you let it Good Samaritan will be your home and your family and you will definitely feel the spirit of God there.

I spent 3 years at this ministry. I mostly enjoyed being there , and miss all the people I loved there, especially the women & kids, and many of the brothers I knew. I regret leaving there, especially the way I left. I was hurt at heart by some of the people there & ought not have let them stumble me . Maybe I could return there and not let history repeat itself.

Good Samaritan afforded me the opportunity to draw closer to the Sovereign Lord & Jesus my king. I left there over a year ago, & I regret it. I am grateful for all they did for me. Bless this ministry.

It's been 8 years since I have been there but it was a wonderful place for me where I connected to God on a level I had never before experienced! Pastor Vito was absolutely amazing he was blunt and straight forward you never had to guess how he felt about something. We would have church at night almost every night and it brought me closer to God. If you are broken and in need of true spiritual help and growth this is the place for you! Ty so much to Good Samaritan ministries and the beautiful amazing people who helped me along the way! I am who I am and where I am at because of God and you all! I pray many blessings upon the ministry and the people who are there Amen
