Provides free emergency food supplies (for up to 3 days, as stocks permit) to visitors who reside in the following ZIP codes: Cordova food locker zip codes 95628, 95655, 95670, 95683, 95741, 95742, 95826, & 95827. Please call CCFL at (916) 364-8973 for documentation requirements to show residency within the ZIP codes serviced by CCFL. Since most food provided is federally funded, federal restrictions apply: Visitors may receive federally funded food only once every 30 days. But, CCFL also conducts Thanksgiving and Christmas "giveaways" for which ZIP code residency requirements are suspended.
CCFL provides emergency food only and no other services are provided. However, CCFL is located on the grounds of St. John Vianney Church. The Church has a thrift store adjacent to the Food Locker (hours vary). To speed processing, visitors may wish to bring a wheeled cart to help carry their food to their car.
