From the shelter:
Our 90 day temporary shelter program offers dorm-style living to single men & single women. Individuals are out of the building between 8 am and 3 pm on weekdays. There are curfews & chores and other responsibilities while living in the shelter. During the initial contact, an intake is done via phone, but can also be done in person if the individual doesn't have access to a phone. An intake is not an application for shelter. It provides some basic information for future reference and contacts. Once the phone intake has been completed, individuals must wait to be contacted or may contact the center as instructed by the case manager to check availability.

As beds become available, individuals who have completed an initial phone intake will be called (on a first-come, first-served basis) to schedule an application appointment. If this appointment is not kept, the bed is offered to the next individual who completed an intake. The center cannot reserve beds/rooms for prospective residents.

When beds are not available, our staff makes every effort to provide referrals to other area shelters and provide other resource information.
