Children & Youth Women
At Warren Village, we understand that homelessness and poverty have far-reaching impacts.  The effects radiate from the individual affected to his or her family, friends and the community as a whole.  And there is no one more vulnerable than families with children.  Thats why we are dedicated to helping low income, single parent families become self-sufficient and stay that way.
Our comprehensive program is designed to get our clients on solid footing so that when they leave us theyre ready to create sustainable stability for themselves and their families.
Affordable Housing
Residence at Warren Village is not an entitlement but rather a privilege, earned by progress toward specific personal and economic self-sufficiency goals. Our 93 subsidized apartments can accommodate single-parent families with up to six children.
If you need affordable housing and are ready to improve your life, Warren Village may be able to help. We accept housing applications from people who:
 Are a single parent
 Are 18 years or older
Have custody of one or more children
Have a high school diploma or GED
Are motivated to set and achieve goals, and
Are committed to full-time work and/or school, three life skills classes per month, and two hours of community service per month.
Family Services
Skilled and dedicated advocates help residents by providing career and education counseling, financial education and plans for long-term housing.  Supportive services include life skills classes like parenting, budgeting and job retention skills and an Evening Family Enrichment program for parents and children.
