Description: We are a transitional shelter for chronically homeless adult clients (men and women)with a history of mental illness.

You are responsible for your payment. We accept most major insurances, including most AHCCCS plans. Click here for a list of insurances we accept.

We also provide a sliding fee scale for our private-pay patients, which is based on your verified income. Call 602.685.6000 for more information on the requirements and to see if you are eligible for a discounted rate.

Volunteers Requests by Terros Safe Haven Shelter: Due to confidentiality issues with working with the mentally ill, we CANNOT utilize volunteers

Donation Requests by Terros Safe Haven Shelter: gently used clothing, household items, non perishable food, hygiene items, backpacks, etc...

Many of these shelters now have waiting lists. Please call before going to them. Many waiting lists are very long. Shelters and service also go out of business.
