Description: Food Pantry & Family shelter
The Loaves and Fishes Bridge Program is dedicated to serving area veterans by helping them bridge the gap between homelessness and housing. By partnering with various agencies, it is our goal to reach “functional zero” and end veterans homelessness.
Through our Bridge Program, we are able to place homeless veterans into interim housing while they wait for their permanent housing units to become available. While they are with us, we help them establish housing goals and develop a strategic plan that aids them in removing the barriers that may be contributing to their homelessness . It is our hope that each veteran will enter housing with the resources they need to regain housing stability.
Our services include:
A safe and comfortable place to stay
Additional Case Management
Food/Prevention Services (on-going)
Gas vouchers for employment and appointments
Referrals to mainstream resources beyond just veteran services
