Domestic Violence Resource Center
A safe haven to rebuild lives.  At the center, we celebrate the resiliency of the human spirit and the capability that lives in each of us to overcome obstacles.  Comprehensive shelter services are provided to those women and children who are fleeing domestic violence situations.  The goal of the program is to empower battered women, giving them the tools to rebuild their lives in order to assure future safety for themselves and their children.  Our residents are made to feel safe, allowed to determine the next step in their lives and to explore the alternatives in breaking the cycle of domestic violence.

Our guiding principle is empowerment.  The non-profit organization operates under the DAEOC umbrella and all programs are provided free of charge to participants on a non-discriminatory basis.  This emphasizes regaining personal power from within, rather than seeking the approval and power from outside sources.  By reclaiming their own power, battered women can live their life free of fear and violence.

Our services are available 24-hours-a-day, seven days a week are available for the Missouri counties of Dunklin, Mississippi, New Madrid, Pemiscott, Scott and Stoddard.
