Men's Transitional Housing

Pathways Men's Transitional Housing

Pathways is a transitional living program, specifically designed to provide a safe and sober living environment to help homeless men become stable and self-sufficient. Each client has the opportunity to participate in the program for up to two years. The men are required to set and achieve goals to become self-sufficient. Such goals include obtaining employment and permanent housing. Many of the Pathways clients have come from our PATH Emergency Winter Shelter and transitioned into the Pathways program.

The men are also available to volunteer at community events and are involved in the Recycling Program which is a tremendous help for Fairground and downtown events in Red Bluff. I love the staff as well all they do in the community. I can not say enough for the help and support given to me. I just happen to be one where housing in the shelters as well transitional housing is exempt in this community. I am a registered citizen on parole. I have heard Parole working with these agency's yet once I became forced home less by Parole itself. Did not even get information on the path program from either Parole officer or the supervisor here in Red Bluff. In fact when first paroled in 2016 used parole office as I was told could prior to release 01/25/2016. Nor has parole offered housing assistance which They have for other registerant's but never me. Even when I ask. The post office when I became home less would not allow general delivery to me. Misstated the actual policy I received from the United States Post Master General Washington DC. I was told by then agent to use address of family member in San Jose. Still leaving the problem of timely mail for services. Unemployment social services benefits etc. Path saved me and thank you so much. I was going to help at an event but denied by parole. Seems in direct conflict with the reintergration mission stated by Parole. I am A low risk and many who have gotten to know me understand this. Again thank you so much.
